Car packed, roadtrip ready.
Yeah… this was always going to happen.
I didn't create Hey Chuck because I had a genius idea. I created it because I had a kid.
Traveling with my son Henry was supposed to be easy and fun — and most of the time, it is. But somewhere between the car, the airport, and "we're almost there"… things don't always go according to plan. One trip in particular made that very clear.
No warning. No time. No plan.
Just that moment every parent knows — "Mommy, my tummy hurts." My internal mom-voice screaming, "Oh no. This is really happening right now." And somehow… I had nothing of what I actually needed.
No real solution. Just improvising. Stress. Cleanup. Trying to stay calm while everything felt chaotic.
After that, I did what any slightly over-prepared, problem-solving parent would do...
I built the kit I wished I had.
Everything in one place. Simple. Clean. Ready.
Then I shared it with other moms and realized I'm not the only parent who deals with this situation regularly. Because the truth is — upchuck (AKA throw up) isn't a rare emergency. It's part of traveling with kids. And now? When it happens (because it will), I don't panic.
Hey Chuck Happens... Be Ready!
xoxo Tina & Henry
